CompTrust AGC Mutual Captive Insurance Company is a Workers' Compensation Captive organized under the laws of the state of Georgia.  Before converting to a Mutual Captive Insurance Company in January 2008, CompTrust AGC was a Self-Insured Trust Fund established in 1982.   CompTrust AGC Mutual Captive Insurance Company is an alternative risk financing mechanism for workers' compensation coverage for Georgia Branch, Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) members.

Georgia Branch, AGC recognized the need to provide a stable and cost effective way to control escalating costs for Workers Compensation Insurance. This program is designed specifically for Georgia commercial contractors. The Captive offers a full range of services, including but not limited to, managed care for work related injuries, safety incentive program, safety and loss control services, OSHA inspection assistance and employee safety training. All of these features of CompTrust AGC Mutual Captive Insurance Company are designed to assist members in controlling work related accidents. When losses are reduced, the cost is reduced. Because CompTrust AGC Mutual Captive Insurance Company is owned by its members, participation allows the members to share in the monies not allocated to losses or operational expenses. These monies are returned in the form of reduced rates or dividend distributions.
